Wherever you are in the world, whatever your ability, I would love to be your online Zoom flute teacher.
Just drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to get started today.
- No travel costs, no travel time.
- Convenience; where could be better to learn flute than from the comfort of your own home?
- It works! It’s much easier than you’d think, and we can easily look at everything from tone and breathing right through to posture.
Who do you teach?
I have over 10 years experience teaching students right through from beginners to advanced. I’ve had students that are picking up the flute for the first time, and students that (think!) they have forgotten everything having not played for 20 years.
Whatever your age, background and ability, Zoom flute lessons can work for you.
Some examples of my previous students are:
- Students working through the ABRSM grades
- Students wanting to play in less formal band settings
- A 6 year old taking his first steps on the recorder
- A 12 year old who was working towards her Grade 3, but wanted to play some Little Mix tracks on the way!
- A 60 year old that could play the Indian bamboo flute, but wanted to add traditional flute to his repertoire
- A student that just wanted a few lessons to pick back up on some basic flute techniques and learn how to play ragas in a Hare Krishna band.
- Many, many more!
What do you teach?
I teach what you want to learn! I teach flute, recorder and theory. I can fully customise and bespoke the lessons around you, just get in touch with your aims and aspirations and I’ll put together the right lesson plans for you.
Whether you want to work your way through ABRSM/Trinity exams, polish up on your tone before applying for a place at a conservatoire or just jam in a band – we can make your goals become reality through Zoom online flute lessons.
I believe that your flute lessons should be as relaxed and comfortable as possible, whilst also planned properly so that you can make progress towards your specific goals.
I got my Bmus (Bachelors of Music degree) from University of Birmingham, and my Mmus (Masters in Creative Musicianship) from Leeds College of Music. I regularly tour throughout the UK and Europe, and me and my flute have been played on radio across the world (including BBC Radio 6 Music, Jazz FM and BBC Radio 3).
I am classically trained and have played in various traditional orchestras, whilst also playing in a wide range of bands (from prog rock to folk). I specialise in contemporary music and improvisation and try and incorporate this freedom within all my lessons. The diversity in my playing experience means I can teach in a wide range of styles and genres, so just reach out and let me know your goals.
I accompany lessons with follow up notes which include what we worked on, what you did great, what we can work on further and any materials that you can continue to grow with before our next lesson.
How does it work?
The first lesson is absolutely free. This is so we can get everything setup and running perfectly, chat about any goals and give you a short taster lesson so you know what to expect if you book a full lesson.
All you need is an internet enabled device (computer/laptop/iphone/probably a cooker these days!) that has a camera and microphone, and a decent internet connection. Unsure about the tech? That’s what the free lesson is for, to give it a go – we always find a way, and it’s usually easier than you’d think.
When you’re ready to book your next lesson, just get in touch (email email@example.com) and we’ll book in a time that suits you.
How much do you charge?
The first lesson is free.
- 30 minutes = £15
- 45 minutes = £21
- 60 minutes = £25
How do we get started?
Just send me an email via firstname.lastname@example.org with a bit about you, what you hope to learn and when you’d be available for your free consultation lesson.
